This may be a dumb question but I will ask it anyway. Why would you buy Bose headphones then pay for a UFLYMIKE to turn them into a headset when you could just buy a Bose headset? Am I missing something? I have Bose A20s for my wife and I in our plane but wear Zulu2s at work. I wish I would have gotten Zulus for our personal use now. *** Bose is a leader in audio but can't make a headset that streams audio by BT.

FWIW, I had the QC15 and UFlyMike combo, and I loved them. However, one day one of the ear pieces stopped working. They were only about a year and a half old. My biggest complaint with them was that they never seemed very durable from the start and headsets are used very harshly. I have decided that I will not get another pair. I think I am going to get the Clarity Aloft or Quiet Technologies Halo.
I use the UFLYMIKE combo and absolutely LOVE IT.
BAD NEWS though... for starters, Mike of YOUFLYMIKE has died of gallbladder cancer. Secondly, Bose discontinued the QC15. The UFLYMIKE company is supposedly in good hands though and is developing a new product for the new QC25.

That is sickening... it is amazing how pax develop the stampede mentality once the deplaning begins.
I occasionally have to attempt to hold them up so I can make my exit to do the walkaround, often enlisting the FAs help.
THe majority of the time they do not slow down one bit and just keep coming like a slow moving zombie train. I can definitely see how your headsets would get run over and the pax not even know or care for that matter.

These are the CUSTOMERS that pay your salary. Give them a break. You're there to serve them!!
Oh. And just buy a Bose. You'll never regret it.

most pax are very nice and I am happy to have them in my plane but this one broke my $600+ headsets and didn't even say sorry or seem to care how about when they trip and drop ther MacBook I step on it don't even pick it up or even say sorry.

Used QC15's are going for cheap on the interwebs lately. A buddy of mine just picked some up on Amazon for 150 and they look brand new. They are getting a little more scarce since Bose stopped making them for the QC25. If you're on the fence I'd wait till uflymike comes out with his QC25 piece. Apparently the 25's will still put out audio when the batteries die unlike the 15's going crickets. Just my .02

I use the telex 5x5 with custom molded ear pieces and the regional package from here The Regional Jet Package from PilotStuff.com
After a few summers sweating from the david clamps I needed this. This is what my first IOE check airman was wearing and he swore by it. Now I'll do the same. It's not ANR but the custom molds help with passive noise reduction. It is a little louder than david clarks in the aircraft with the old wiper baldes but the comfort is worth it. Oh and it takes a bit to get the gain on the mike correct.
