Whoopty do. AA historically doesn't hire much from Eagle except for well connected or children of current AA pilots. So to me coming here still wouldn't make sense.

People need to become educated and make informed decisions instead of relying on College and Airline Recruiters, and Kit D.

But they couldn't backfill all the regional pilots leaving their system fast enough, which was my point. It would be funny to see all the airlines try to scramble to keep their regional flights staffed. Delta could, in theory, hire 300 PSA pilots in just two months which would cripple AA's feed out of CLT for many months until they could hire to backfill the loss. AA could then retaliate by hiring a bunch of Endeavor pilots too and cripple Delta's feed out of DTW/MSP. It would be kind if funny to watch them cannibalize themselves.

How many more generations of pilots are going to fall for flow throughs. Yes a token amount get flow, but they are designed to staff the right seat of RJs, not the right seat of legacy.

Flow through keeps the peons at their crappy jobs while AA and Delta can hire all their squadron buddies.

Define direct.
Looks like you haven't been around airline talk too long.

On the passenger side, direct and non-stop are not the same!

The PDT flow dictates it'll be offered to any pilots in order of seniority which are 'available'.

Seat locks apply to new F/Os, F/Os certified to a different aircraft type for 2 Years, captains 1 year from upgrade or equipment change.

It might be smart no pass on the upgrade or equipment change and just flow instead of being tied down to a quickie pay increase!

Is history reapeating itself?

This reminds me of the 1990's and the flow through promise to Eagle pilots then.

Just had an Eagle pilot who flowed earlier this year on my jumpseat. He said it only took "17 years of misery".

But how is it direct if you have to stop at Envoy first?

Assuming it continues working as the arbitrator ordered (the ONLY reason it IS working now) and mgt is advertising, I will go over in a year, which will be 16 yrs for me.

When I interviewed in 1999, they were saying "five years to American!"

People! They will lie, cheat, and steal to get 1) you on the property, 2) you to cover that open trip, and 3) a reinterpretation of the contract to pay you less for doing more. Even when a fifth grader can read the plain English.
