It's effectively a raise. Especially when they swallow everything up in open time

So a small net number of upgrades eh? Aside from Bloch stuff, I'd say that's some good news to see.

Dang, you guys must all be ex Mesaba. I can't imagine any Pinnacle or Colgan guys celebrating Downgrades. Sounds like a Pyrrhic Victory to me. The Bloch Award is the gift that just keeps on giving.

And those attrition numbers are still pretty strong. 33 gone within the first week of December.

At this point their should be no doubt that Delta wants to keep flying the 200 at least in the short term (next couple of years.)
Did they have a press release about keeping the 200s? The last memo I saw was they are all leaving by the end of 2015. I don't think 5 guys starting class in Jan is going to help, when attrition the last 2 months is 100 or more.

Recently, I sent a memo outlining an agreement that Delta was working on to place 26 CRJ-200 aircraft into service with Air Wisconsin. The proposed timeline for the start of operations at Air Wisconsin required that we send aircraft to them ahead of the finalized terms and, therefore, we announced this arrangement in alignment with the first aircraft deliveries.

Today’s note is to share that Delta and Air Wisconsin were unable finalize an agreement, so the CRJ-200s slated to go to Air Wisconsin will stay with Endeavor. This development does not materially impact Endeavor’s fleet plan as we continue to support as much CRJ-200 flying as our staffing levels permit. We will also continue to transfer 12 CRJ-200 aircraft to SkyWest over the next few months.

Good for Mesaba getting into the left seat finally (though it's commuting to bottom reserve), good for the Pinnacle and Colgan getting downgraded (at this point with decent PIC time) into the top FO spots getting captain pay. Personally I'd rather not commute and sit top 10 right seat at captain pay

And don't the downgraded guys also lose their opportunity @ the SSP, since you're required to be a current Captain? Just another kick in the balls. Don't bother speculating about the on going negotiations to include First Officers.

All the attrition through the first week of the month that keeps being posted are those that are effective in Dec so far. That's 2 weeks of notice. That memo was from the 6th? That would make it 33 leaving through the 20th of the month. I don't know when the classes start at the other regionals. Being it's the holidays I don't know how many will jump ship the rest of the month. Jan will be interesting, though, especially if there is no deal or no good deal for the FO's.
