your point about the current mec is bull but serves management trolling.
Actually, think of this situation as that of a cancer patient. Previously, the patient did all the wrong things and now has the disease (thanks to team tony and most of the previous leaderships going back even before the Texas Mafia).

Is the solution of the hope of cure to CONTINUE to do all those same things or make hard and painful lifestyle change in addition to undergoing unpleasant treatment ?

It's going to get worse before its gets better, but the only hope of reversing this situation and minimizing the symptoms is change and that includes some temporarily painful treatment. Come sometime next Summer, if the present treatment plan is maintained, I think it will be shown that this "cancer" can be treated. Again, one major key is to avoid the promises of periodic snake oil hucksters trying to sell you their cure for your problem. They work for the cancer itself and are simply a dead-end path to destruction.

I wish that was the case. But its more like the cancer has eaten away one of your legs and one arm. And for some reason you are under the impression they will grow back. Also doing nothing about the cancer will cause it not to spread. We are all most at stage five in my opinion.

Lolouder !!!

You're a fake.

3200 pilots was well before any of this business with parker started, so stop falsely inflating the situation to assist in selling your agenda. The fact is that once the merger occurred, there were over 10 regionals feeding the combined entity and diversification was inevitable. To think envoy would have become the king of eagles is misguided error, but is sold by those stumping for the interests of management. Like you.

Additionally, the regional feed network will be smaller........much smaller due to the realities of the ever decreasing availability of pilots and will comprise of all larger rj aircraft in the 64-76 seat range. Look for perhaps 300 or so jets and that means the overall network will shrink by half from its present state. Divided among 3-4 feeders, that's 75-100 aircraft a piece (ultimately). Some of these feeders will merge (envoy) and others will vaporize. What everyone is seeing now is simply a temporary stopgap pawn shuffling to plug the dike holes (which is failing) while getting some additional reduction in costs.

It would behoove all those affected to look at the long-term end game big picture, instead of focusing on small, temporary acts designed to instill fud (fear, uncertainty, desperation (or doubt)). Listen to some of the dike holes here;

they claim to be scared, claim you should be scared and preach fear.
They claim disaster is all but certain on the present path and preach uncertainty.
They beg, plead and cry to the heavens that something must be done and now preaching desperation (and doubt).

Like another said, relax, take a deep breath and for god's sake, don't listen to jerry's dike holes !
+100000000.

The Phantom has rode into town recently to SAVE US!

He knows the path to righteousness, and we should follow!

source that, I'd like a copy. If true, it makes your offer of 40 jets problematic, wouldn't you say.

Actually, stopping the flow was never part of that; but I wouldn't expect you to be truthful. If you read the language they would be required to park airplanes (reduce block hours) in order to continue the flow. Therefore there was no real requirement to keep 170 jets in service. Go read it yourself instead of spreading lies.

Nope, and as a matter of fact, I clearly identified on the LEC teleconference that the caps were a big issue for the folks on property in the failed TA because the company had no skin in the game if the flow through stopped.

so far, I haven't seen anything in your post that wasn't already public knowledge... other than your rock throwing, your post is little more than trolling and flame bait.

Sorry, the union does not run the company. They have it within their ability to recruit new hires if they wanted to. We are going to send at least 240 guys to AA next year; the 50 planes they plan to outsource whould have required up to 475 new CA upgrades. Did this company attend a single job fair to announce that Envoy would need to upgrade aro9und 700 pilots next year? Did they tell any potential new hires that they had an immediate need for up to 700 pilots, and that almost 1/3rd of our pilots would upgrade in ONE year. Did they make any press release saying any of that, like they did just a few years ago saying they wanted to hire 600 new pilots. No, IMHO they aren't hiring because they aren't trying.

There is no proposal. If you got union emails you'd already know that; but since youre a management troll, you obviously are here to spread lies and disinformation. Got news for you pal; the more you keep this crap up... the more unified this pilot group is becoming against the strongarm tactics being employed by the greediest corporation in the history of American capatalism.
