How do you know? And what 175s? Aren't there only 40 hard orders left?

Anyone remember the last time someone was on here acting like such a prophet?

Fine. If you think you're going to lose your job, then by all means run screaming into the woods. If you think Parker is done ordering larger RJ's to replace smaller ones, you belong somewhere out in the woods.

Why don't you ask this same question to those saying they'll all be soon be in the unemployment line ?

Management can be trusted! Remember this?

"American Eagle Airlines would like to wish you a Happy New Year and share some great news about our airline. We are currently hiring and plan to bring on over 600 new pilots in 2013! With the flow of our senior pilots to American Airlines and increased attrition to major carriers, we are looking for qualified pilots immediately. In addition, new flight time and duty time regulations going into eff...ect in 2014 will increase the number of pilots needed even further. We are hiring into the EMB-145 series and the CRJ-700 aircraft. We are also hiring into all of our Turbo-Jet bases which are Chicago-O’hare (ORD), New York (JFK & LGA), Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), and Miami (MIA).

With American Airlines planning to hire 2500 pilots over the next 5 years, American Eagle is expecting approximately half of our pilot list to flow to American in the next 5 years. This movement will create faster career progression for new American Eagle pilots. Pilots leaving for other major carriers will further accelerate American Eagle pilots’ career progression.

We would also like to let you know that American Eagle is currently offering a new hire bonus of $5,000. This bonus is paid to new pilots just prior to the start of training and requires a two year agreement with American Eagle. The bonus and associated agreement are optional but offered as an added incentive to join the American Eagle team.

If you are interested in a pilot position with American Eagle Airlines, update your AirlineApps profile with the most current information and be sure to update the American Eagle addendum as well. Once you have updated your profile, email us at [email protected]. Our minimum flight time requirements are the ATP minimum hour requirements as stated in 61.159. A completed ATP written exam is required prior to starting new hire pilot training.

All of us in Pilot Recruitment are line pilots and would be happy to answer your questions.

We look forward to hearing from you!

No seriously, do you actually know these claims you're making like you imply you do, or are you just perpetuating your intuition as fact and inside knowledge like Mason did, because if it's the latter just stop... no one appreciates it.

And by the way, this "either you believe envoy is invincible or you belong in the looney bin" rhetoric has got to stop. It's not productive and getting old.

That is my saying. Haha. Yes the MEC screwed the pooch for sure. Our current and past MEC members had it all figured out. We would not have had this attrition problem if the TA would of passed. Now we are screwed and all they have to say is that was the plan all along. Bull crap. They had better get a freaking deal done soon. These games need to end. Bring it to a vote.

I am hearing the same thing. If true then no future for envoy. That leaves what 20 of the hard orders left and much of the options we can't take because of scope.

You are blind. Attrition would still be high and we would still not be getting new hires. Only two things bring new hires to a company. 1. fast upgrade and new jets. Hate to tell you but if the TA passed we were still going to be shrinking per managements word, and the TA still would of kept the upgrade around 5, 6 years because we weren't going to be growing.

I'm not going to revive the same error Mason did. Why ?

Because it serves no purpose but to only demonstrate how gullible many at Envoy are, which in the end only serves managements interests. I winced every time I saw another pie-eyed kid here tug Papa Masons pant leg, in effect saying, "gee Daddy, what's gonna happen next ?" hanging on every word he said only to look like chumps in the end.

My advice is to finally grow up (and a pair) and put on your OWN big boy pants and start thinking like a big boy. You wanna remain a frightened little girl teetering on every little action from Parker never deciding to take control of your own future, be my guest.

You'll note it's gotten you exactly squat so far. Heck, sign whatever they throw at you next if you think it will change the ultimate future. When you realize it doesn't, just don't come whining on this forum about it. The ultimate plan is consolidation and even AAG has admitted it. Parker couldn't replace all of Envoy for years and being patient to see if he can prove his threats isn't going to do any more damage then is already planned. By mid next year, you'll know where Parker is and so will he. Won't be able to stall or hide any longer behind Glasses empty strategies.

Believe anything you want.

Nothing to do then but quietly retreat to the garage after everyone's asleep and blow your brains out, I guess.

Oh well, it was a fun life while it lasted.
