Skywest doesn't want them because they lose money under the CPA they negotiated when they attempted to buy xjt. And when they did buy xjt two years later, they renegotiated the CPA again but still agreed to a money losing CPA.

If you listened to the SKW call they talked about "mitigating" losses.. Working with UA to place thsr planes at TSA is part of that.. Win for SKW. Win for UA. Win for TSA if they can make money...

I'd say more a loss for LXJT FOs, assuming Captain attrition doesn't continue. I'm just glad they aren't going to furlough.

Yes i agree. But dont think management is looking out for the peeps right now. They are worried about the company.. Sad. But the ERJ side looks to shring down to what?? Maybe they can negotiate a far contract with UA for 30-100 planes is my guess..

The ERJ side will be lucky to be a 100 aircraft company. They are not worried about the peeps, at least not the ones you are referring to. They need to keep relationships good at UAL. Those are the peeps they are looking out for, other than themselves of course.
