And the Q400's, I haven't heard of them canceling the orders.

R U an idiot? SKW Inc. allocated 8 of the RFP CJ7's to ASA. You can be sure that if and when SKW Inc is awarded the F9 CJ7’s that ASA pilots will be at the controls.
Also, unless I was mistaken, SKW bought ASA. To the best of my knowledge that means they own ASA, THE JETS BELONG TO SKW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of ASA's assets belong to SKW Inc.
SKW Inc. is not stealing anything; they are adjusting BOTH airlines in order to create a better company. It may seem that SKW is benefiting from ASA but Jerry has a plan, we just have to wait and see. Don't forget that Jerry has been running SKW for over 34 years, SUCCESSFULLY! SKW has never furloughed and has posted 32 of 34 years in the black. The only two years in the red, year 1 in 72 and 82, that’s 24 strait years of profit! IMPRESSIVE, you can’t deny that.
So, stop your B*I*T*C*H*I*N*G and be happy that your company is now run by a man with a history of absolute success.

Explain that to Mesa. SKW didn't have code shares until the LATE 80's, that's 14+ years of profitable "At Risk" flying. After SKW picked up their first code share most of their flying was still "At Risk" until the 90's. Today all of our flying isn't fee-for-departure, we still do a good amount of "At Risk" flying for a regional with code shares.

This fee-for-departure stuff is also relatively new. I wouldn't be surprised if it slowly went away either, it's just too much of a drain on the mainline carrier.
One thing SkyWest does that I like is their "SkyShip" freight service. I had no idea that they even offered that. That's a smart way to increase revenue for sure.
The great thing about public companies is you can use capital raised from shareholders to stick your neck out a little and put money into growing the business. Private companies generally are much more conservative, because it's the owners money at stake. Knowing this, I think I would've preferred to come to a publicly held airline vs. privately held, especially in today's environment.

Skywest did not "steal" your 700's, they "bought" them and it makes no sense to operate two bases in SLC. I grew up there BTW...SKW has been around as long as I have, but I don't seem to remember ASA...
But of course you guys didn't "steal" COMAIR's flying...I suppose it was a christmas gift that their MEC voted to give to ASA?
Tool.

But thanks for your history lesson on SLC. Apparently you should have been in Delta managment and informed them of the bad idea a few years ago.

Where do you work again??? ASA has not changed for the better... All we hear about is Jerry Jerry Jerry. Where is he??? Absent. Send him out to ASA to take a peek. Why has he not implemented any changes at ASA? Why has he not kicked ASA management in the ass about the contract?
ASA is not better.
