Express Jet Interview Req. Paperwork
I am filling out an online app for Express Jet. I've heard that they can require an applicant to bring forms with them to the interview that may take ahwile to obtain. I thought I read that they wanted 3-5 yrs worth of tax return records. Does anyone know what paperwork they require that may take in excess of 3 days to obtain? Thanks.

Thanks. Showing employment for 10yrs is not hard. My DD-214 shows that. I've done most of it in the military. I can show them a certified copy of the 214 but will still most likely try to get the W-2's from the IRS, this ought to be fun going into tax season.

hey i just recieved the invitation to interview and it says to bring the following.
* Copies of tax returns and W-2s (1-800-829-1040 to request tax
returns)**See Note Below**
this is the note below
**Tax & W-2 Forms: You will need tax form if one of the following
applies to you:
* A business you worked at in the past 5 years is now out of
business
* You were self-employed within the past 5 years
* Any unemployment gaps greater than 6 months (these gaps can be
covered with school transcripts if applicable)
If you have verified your previous employer's numbers and contact
personnel for our verification, you do not need to provide any tax forms
for that time frame.
So guys unless I am reading something wrong you DO NOT NEED TAX RETURNS unless 1 of those 3 above conditions apply. All they need is the contact info to your previous places of employment and your transcripts. That is HR's job to verify that you actually worked there, not yours. Pilots are lazy, dont do more work then you have too.

Well thats how I'm reading it also. I got an interview Fri. Building the two packets now. Paperwork is the only thing I fear. Put a pilot in an unfamilar plane, low vis. low ceiling, icing, turbulance, strong cross wind, single engine ILS approach with inop components, nordo, to an unfamilar airport; no sweat. Now fill out this 5 page report about it. TTHHHHHHHHWWWWWBWBBBBBB!@#$@&, PUKIE.
Good luck: hate2.
