Ok HotMamma, explain to me how RJ drivers are to blame for "lowering the industry bar" and mainline drivers like yourself aren't. It seems to me that if your union, along with their counterparts at other carriers, had recognized the benefit of RJ's, we'd all be on the same seniority list, and RJ pay would be a whole bunch better. Instead the unions at the mainlines decided to protect the senior pilots, instead of do what's best for all pilots. Your union gave up the farm on scope in order to protect the pay on widebody's. I was in high school and college when your union was doing this. I refuse to believe that there was anything that the current RJ drivers could've done to stop this from occurring. I've been reading your posts, and you make it out to seem like we are the reason that CRJ700's, 900's, EMB170's and EMB175's are flown by regionals. I don't remember us having a seat at that bargaining table. Fact of the matter is, it was your generation of pilots shortsightedness that created the RJ generation. Believe me I would much rather be flying these same planes in the right seat with you as my captain. But I didn't get to vote for your contract. Stop *****ing at us about it.

Huh? UPS supposedly has the best scope clause in the industry. We have one pay scale for all aircraft so I don't think IPA did this. I am sure you are talking about ALPA? Anyways, I do agree with the rest of your post.

Yeah, i dont think he was talking about you guys at UPS. Although let's be real cargo has been able to be in the great position of looking at all this happening to the pax side of things and laugh. You're day will come. Hopefully with what has happened you guys will have the heads up and figure out how to protect you're flying if you haven't already.

I agree. I definitely don't think we're immune from anything. Management always finds some shady way around anything it seems.

If cargo companies could make money with RJ's they would. Don't blame pilots for the state of the industry, for the most part, we are just along for the ride.

You young'ns will soon find out the cost of raising a family and I hope you will be blessed with all girls!

You all stress out too much on the spelling thingy. Thanks for the laughs!

BTW I think the moderator pulled the thread on "Majors". As well he should. Hotmomma was out of line and so was who ever had word "squishy" in their post. The posts were in poor taste.
Slow down there buddy. I do not live with my mom. I found myself a very supportive wife. We have a family. So step off and keep you mouth shut.

As for Hotmomma, she talks an awful lot a with out backing it up. Give me some of your history so I can understand your point.

Love thy neighbor folks.

All right SAAB, I'll back you this time!! on the female part anyway!! And I'll also go to work for DAL (without the death of my mom) because they still pay a little more than CAL (upgrade times not considered) and I get can get outta here!! - BCD "12 apps and counting"

I didn't say that you live with your mom, most rj pilots live with their mothers, you are an exception, congratulations and best wishes!

BTW, I will not step off and will not keep my mouth shut. Thank you for the suggestion. That was very thoughty of you.

Peace,
