You're gonna find it hard to benchpress me if I keep eating all these delicious first class meals!

From ALPA email.

Your Pinnacle MEC Jumpseat Committee is pleased to announce that it, in conjunction with the Delta MEC Jumpseat Committee, has arranged for Pinnacle and Delta pilots to travel on each other’s jumpseat with enhanced priority. Effective immediately, Pinnacle pilots are now above all other DCI carriers on Delta flights and Delta pilots are above all DCI carriers on Pinnacle flights. Non rev travel priority remains unchanged.

Please be aware that jumpseat boarding order is not seniority based, it is first come first served within your jumpseat priority..

Good if I am traveling by myself, not so useful for traveling with the family. S3 boarding by DOH would be much more useful

I doubt that will ever happen. You would be bumping mainline employees off their own airplanes. Not very fair.

Try convincing a gate agent of this agreement or a crew. I don't see this ever working in reality.

Yeah the old paper form way was actually better. Agents could easilly place them in order based on box checked. Also you could legally "double list" for the front and back and if you had a seat in back at the last second they would just scrap your form and use the next one. If you were the top JS you could easily get it and free up a non rev seat in the back. If someone bumped you last second from the JS, you already had a seat in back anyway.

The newer process is actually way more complicated for agents and pilots and can even create a situation where off liners get the JS ahead of company pilots beccause of the rediculous self imposed limitation of not being able to double list because of the current I.T. limitations.

Funny how everyone interprets things differently. The memo states Pinnacle could get the jumpseats ahead of All other DCI carriers and Delta gets it on Pinnacle ahead of all other DCI carriers. It says nothing about getting equal priority on mainline. You can relax
