Certain pilots in '84 worked for the same reasons you listed. You aren't (obviously) but my point is just that at the end of the day, pilots are always self-serving and will do only what benefits them and not the greater good. As the general agreement is, the greater good isn't paying your family bills and mortgage.
#2 No one wants to lower the bar but if you look at it the Regional industry as a whole we/you/any regional already did against mainline jobs.
#3 Our pilot cost may be lower but total Pinnacle cost is still higher than GoJet.
I'm a bit defensive when you and others compare our vote on crossing picket lines and being spinless. Stop blaming others for your problems.
I truly wish all the best. Good things to come for most pilots In the next few years. Even at Pinnacle.

To bad Shy wasn't like D.B. Cooper , jump out the back door and never look back. Unfortunately, since he seems to be sticking around, I think I'm getting Stockholm syndrome...

Not at a moments notice, but it only took them about five months to shut down the Colgan ops. If we extrapolate from the 50ish Colgan planes to the 200 remaining ships, it is reasonable to think it would have only taken about a year and a half.
