IMO, most pilots don't get to throw stones about working for less than the next guy. Unless your paycheck is brown or purple, we're all sitting in glass houses. It's all just a matter of degree.
All we can do is keep striving to make our own airlines better places to work. Seems to me that that'll help everybody.

With a post like this, I really hope you don't/didn't work for Omni. Which.. ahem..... a quick search of your post history... What was the captain pay on the DC-10 there, 96 bucks an hour at a 62 hour guarantee?

I don't want to open up SLI wounds at DL in regard to who's senior to who.
We've all worked for lower pay here and there, just be careful where you through the stones as most of us are in glass houses.

I am not. I believe everyone at his former employer is tired of him throwing stones. He needs to move on. Just think he needs to move on.

If the SSI does work out and they don't park the 200s (DL has maintained those things are gone AND they will not be taking all the allowable 76 seaters), things may work out very well for those at 9E.
Perhaps he is worried about having made a bad move in hindsight with the very iffy future of VX. Or, considering his other posts in other threads, his wording and sarcasm tends to elicit maximum butthurt wherever and whatever he posts. Maybe some of both?

Well how big was Colgan? 600 pilots? So that's basically all the Colgan pilots. Plus, the chatter back then from the 9L guys was "Oh, we're content on our planes, we don't want bigger jets." Yet, once the first vacancy came out, the majority of the new ATL -900 Captains were Colgan. Go figure.
So shyguy just for you I pulled up the last 3 way seniority list from the new Pinnacolaba mix. It currently shows 2168 active pilots at the company. Of those 2168 pilots 312 are premerger colgan pilots. That is half the original pilot group ( so half, let me repeat that half of the colgan pilots already quit!) and that ratio of pilots is 14.3% of the new pilot group. Of the 312 active pilots there are 168 colgan pilots that are captains currently showing on the seniority list. I know 5 people that have quit since that seniority list was published on april 1st. So 163 out of 2168 is 7.7% of the pilot group are colgan captains. Also, since you keep saying that all the 900 captains slots are colgan I added up all the colgan pilots and you know how many there are ? 12 total on the entire list 12?! That is .05% of the pilot group that is currently active. The most junior colgan 900 ca was hired in June of 04. So the Colgan guys did not make it out that great as you keep posting.
