If some of you do not want to respond to a thread, mind your business and move on to something else. Dont go around closing threads because you think its redundant. I am actually trying to get some info that I didnt get else where. I dont know why some of you are out playing APC police and taking it upon yourselves to close threads that have nothing to do with you.
My only friend at the time was an Asian guy in his mid-thirties who only hung around with me since he thought I'd get him laid. When I first met the guy we got in a huge brawl and he almost killed my pet, a tiny rodent I carried with me. Only after I beat him did he want to have anything to do with me. There was a perk though, this cute red headed girl that started hanging around. She was some kind of a sadist though, she liked to beat me up and talk about water and crap. I think she was a little crazy, but hey, aren't we all?
Well some of us are a little loony, but the bane of my freaking existence was this loony as balls adult couple. They where one of those kinds that dresses alike and finishes each others sentences. Then they had this crazy cat with them too, the stupid thing would not shut up. Let alone the freaking thing always tried to like steal my pet rat and eat it. Damn thing needed a good boot to the face.
I got to see a lot of crazy places, which was nice, but it was an episode after episode to get anywhere.
farking weird, I spent the time traveling from town to town getting in fights with kids and adults. The only thing that kept me going was my dream to become a pokeman master.

I never knew my dad. Forget my mom, she threw me out of the house before I was even 13. Then she has the gall to try and keep in touch with me after that. Granted my life living with her was crappy too. I had one friend growing up, the only other kid in town. My entire childhood with him was spent getting the crap kicked out of myself and then listening to him tell me how worthless I was. Not like I had a choice though, there was only nine freaking people in the town. I kid you not. So I didn't miss the place, but after leaving I spent my entire adolescence wandering the country from town to town.

I've been a moderator here for almost 6 years and I've seen more than my fair share of the angry, clueless, desperate, rude, and everything in between. I've received enough nasty PMs to last a lifetime. I've stories to tell that will make your nose hairs curl.
This is a free site that is surprisingly welcoming to almost everyone. The membership runs the gamut - current pilots, retirees, flight attendants, mechanics, CFIs, doctors, lawyers, engineers, and the many high school students. For the most part, we have a nice community going here. And as long as I agree to continue as a moderator, I intend to keep this place the way it is and perhaps a little better.
The Terms of Service are not particularly onerous. If anyone doesn't like it, you are free to go off and start your own website. My job is to make sure everyone adheres to a set of simple rules. If you can't do that, how can you possibly get a job flying me and my family around?
So, to summarize: there is no censorship going on; you have freedom of speech, but within the confines of the TOS and common courtesy; the moderators are volunteers who try to do a good job; and the expectation is for everyone to help out when possible and have a good experience.
