Delta to buy Pinnacle

Or maybe because the DAL pilot's contact had substantial penalties for dissolving the flow back? And since Delta management signed said contract, they decided to actually comply with it? Also, I believe the concept of forced large RJ reductions as a result of flow back dissolution was in the PMNW contract.

The larger point is that being wholly owned does not magically work out positively for 9e simply because someone can point to one example of a situation where an ex-wholly owned company is currently (today only) doing alright. To completely ignore the history behind such a statement only does a disservice to people trying to decide what their future holds. This is not the same circumstance, not even close.

Untrue, as per the new FA agreement their pay scale tops out at 15 years and at about $32 and change, the FO pay scale under the new TA will top out at $37 and change. The only time an FA will make more money than an FO are the 6+ years FA's will make more than first year FO's, once a first officer hits year 2 pay they will make more than any FA on property.
