Eagle to hire 600+ in 2013!

In business over 40 years, only the 2nd airline to never bankrupt and have never let a contract expire.
They have lots of money in the bank. The impression I get, from having talked to them, is they don't appear to be concerned about getting into larger aircraft if that is, indeed, what needs to be done. However, they do quite well in the 50 seaters despite everyone thinking your toast flying em.
I'm glad I landed here. I know there are definite worse regionals I could have ended up at.

I'm not going to say your wrong, but I do find it humorous that so many think they will be extinct in 2 years. I'll go by their tract record.

I thought it was less than that but I guess living close to the airport wouldn't be bad on RSV all I've done is commute. Next question is if you're prior 121 is the interview different? I'm assuming ill get more questions based on my 121 background compared to someone who's a CFI?

Well I've been here almost 2 years, on the line a year an a half. I've been forced reserve most months - occasionally I have gotten a hard line. However, generally I prefer reserve as I live in base and a senior reserve in my opinion is better than a crappy line. I only fly 20-30 hours a month and am home far more than I would with a standard 4 on, 3 off hard line. I just got a bonus 3 days off in a row not getting called. Been a while since that has happened.

I can enjoy that for sure especially if I'm based in ORD. I hear horror stories about the interview and times not matching up with Airline Apps. Tomorrow my application has to be updated as they're pulling it and using it to call me in for a June interview. Some of my hours are off by about 5-7 hours and I've dug into my logbook trying to find the discrepancy and I can't. Is this going to be an issue in the interview?

They also understand that from the date they get your updated application, till the date of the interview, you might have flown some extra hours. That's when the time grid from the papers they are going to send you comes to play.
And interview is the same for everybody, is not hard at all, just be prepared and have all the papers done correctly. I expend a lot of time preparing those correctly and getting extra copies.
