AA tops out after 12 years, Eagle tops out after 18 years.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Why would anyone leave if they were on an 18 year payscale with the line of their choice and 3 weeks of vacation?

I asked the same thing of a topped out RJ Captain. His response was classic..."A pay cut for the ex-wife!"

Once AA declared bankrupcy in November 2011 everything came to a halt. Hiring, movement, etc.. So wherever people were at that time is where they are today for the most part. Only now are we starting to see some movement again and hiring. So, anybody hired in mid/late 2011 who is still on reserve will probably hold a line later this year. Perhaps even by late summer.
Sure hope your right. I'm a march 2011 hire and only about half way up the reserve list in Chicago.

it depends on base, I am same DOH as sooner, and way after the pilotj3 guy and hold a rotation of 2 or 3 day trips, normally 2, but sometimes 3, since I got to MIA in oct 2011.

That's a good spot to be in, though, as far as reserve goes, right?

Sure, with PBS being crammed on us, all your wildest dreams will come true!
I might vote no to PBS, but of course it will pass, like always does.

That will change after the SJU guys go to MIA in the summer. That's like 15 FOs senior than me, but we shall see. I hope I can get my MIDT for June, I'm tired of the ORD cold. Lol

Could be worse. My first year I was the bottom guy in Miami and Dallas on the ATR and spent most of the time doing airport stand by every single day.
