Eagle to hire 600+ in 2013!
#541
Mergers, 9/11, age 65. I fall into the 15yr category? I was 23.5 when I finished IOE? Crap happens in this business? Trickle hiring, with maybe the possibility of hiring starting this spring. It doesn't always work out as planned? My stuff is out like other people, just waiting to hear, hopefully!
Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Why would anyone leave if they were on an 18 year payscale with the line of their choice and 3 weeks of vacation?

Those still on Reserve here at Eagle are the ones hired in the months leading up to the bankrupcy in November. At that time there was movement and average time on reserve was 7 months.
Once AA declared bankrupcy in November 2011 everything came to a halt. Hiring, movement, etc.. So wherever people were at that time is where they are today for the most part. Only now are we starting to see some movement again and hiring. So, anybody hired in mid/late 2011 who is still on reserve will probably hold a line later this year. Perhaps even by late summer.

it depends on base, I am same DOH as sooner, and way after the pilotj3 guy and hold a rotation of 2 or 3 day trips, normally 2, but sometimes 3, since I got to MIA in oct 2011.

I might vote no to PBS, but of course it will pass, like always does.

Could be worse. My first year I was the bottom guy in Miami and Dallas on the ATR and spent most of the time doing airport stand by every single day.
