Could anyone who recently got hired answer the following.

How long after you submitted your app did you get the call to interview?

How long after you submitted your app before you were sat in a classroom for day one of indoc?

How long can a new hire expect to be on reserve?

It's even funnier when that person probably doesn't post on this forum, so why would this character be of any importance TO the forum ? The answer to that question is really an answer for anyone who wonders why Eagle pilots are in the situation they're in (letting their corrupt union leadership give away their scope). One only needs to look at some of the "characters" here for that answer and that is even when reality is clearly and repeatedly pointed out to them, they continue to wallow hopelessly mired in their own fantasy.

....and now look where they are.

Quite a predictable situation, if you ask me. Sad........but, predictable. It's kind of like the bad crash you can't look away from. Just talked to a few buddies and it looks like more previous "thanks, but no thanks" pilots to the flowthru have reconsidered and plan to pull the ejection handle.

If you're looking to add AA to your list of career carriers and you're NOT in the 824 group, I wouldn't come to Eagle thinking it will get you to AA. The pre-October 2011 "promise" group and anyone after that are on shaky ground and even if realized, it will be many years before you come aboard. My advice would be to select a carrier that offers the quickest upgrade.

Has nothing to do with AA and I've yet to claim "superiority" to anyone on this forum....well, o.k. maybe you . Your hatred of AA always boils to the surface. Fact is, I felt the same way while at Eagle and leaving for elsewhere doesn't change that. Eagle ALPA sold you out, because you let them. A lot of junior pilots didn't know any better, but they had no leadership among the senior pilot ranks. You're the perfect example as one who's admitted he's only out for himself and couldn't care less who he throws under the bus in the process.

BTW, you bang in sick today ?

A friend just got hired there. I can give you his details.

He submitted his app in early Feb and got a call in a few days. He interviewed on 2/19 and hasn't gotten a class date yet.

Interesting. I thought they were struggling to fill classes. You would think they would have assigned a class date with the good news email.

I hope its not a pool building excercise.

I submitted my app at the end of January, haven't heard a thing.

My health insurance plan runs about $160/month for a family plan. I have the minimal coverage plan and I put money into the healthcare savings account. I have no complaints, it's BCBS. The copay plan is about $100 more a month.
