I still stand by my point that an EMJ FO isn't going to go through an entire long term just for a change of scenery in the office.

They just did it in ORD last year. I know people that proffered ORD EMJ FO to ORD CRJ FO in recent displacements.

Everybody has their reasons.. relative seniority is better on the CRJ for some, CRJ was really junior on the top end. People wanted to take advantage of that. Some people wanted to get the requirements for Emirates, CRJ meets them, ERJ does not.. some people do it just out of boredom with the ERJ, lots of different reasons.

If they come to MIA and I can hold it with similar seniority, I would proffer to displace to it. However I doubt I will ever get it, I am just up the list enough that I wont get displaced, but JR enough I cant get off the airplane. I fear I will be like the LGA guys and be a 5 year FO on RSV.

I am sure the flying will be better. If MIA EMJ soon becomes what MIA ATR was, and MIA EMJ flying goes to the CRJ, I bet most try and get the CRJ. Same with DFW.

Why did you go DFW ATR to ORD CRJ? Dont you live in TX?

Any idea what the approximate DOH is for the most junior lineholders in DFW/MIA?

I can only speak for MIA, but I think DFW is not far off.

MIA WAS about 03/2011, lately it has been 04-05/2011. Remember we stopped hiring 11/2011 and have just ramped up hiring.

I am 02/2011 and over the last few months, twice, I WAS the bottom line holder. However the company moved some people here from ny, I now bid 73 of 86ish lines, however when the ATR guys come over I will be in the 80s however the lines are suppose to go up close to 100 lines.

Live just outside Oklahoma City. Went CRJ for the OKC routes mainly. Nice getting some bonus nights at home sometimes. There's just no way i can do the 2 leg commute to MIA again if thats where they go. I'll go DFW EMJ before i go MIA CRJ or even LGA CRJ.

Here's a weird question. What is the employee parking situation at MIA? Do they tolerate campers/RVs in the crew lot like they do at LAX and DFW?

I would probably say no. Never seen a camper or RV in the lot there. They are parking natzis run by Miami Dade county. Always giving out tickets for improper parking and towing cars.

Well, I just talked to someone who recently had an interview with nothing bigger than CRJ 700 time..

30 ton requirement hasn't changed as far as I know.

This is correct. Only thing I can ask is did the last part happen to you?? I have been parking here over a year and had no problems at all. Did you park on the grass or something?? Are you from S FL, because then I might get it .

I have seen no RVs. Its near the ghetto, the lot has one complex on the other side of one fence, you can most likely get a room there for really cheap.

I stopped at the subway off the airport expressway just prior to the airport today. I had hobo's coming inside asking for money and while I was ordering at the subway which was attached to a gas station. They have a switch behind the bullet proof counter that turns on/off the soda machine if you order a soda.
