- What are the rules of commuting (missed flights)?
- Does AE use the same hotels (overnights) as American Airlines does?
- Possible to jumpseat internationally on AA (cockpit)?
- Airframe can be chosen or will be assigned?
- Does AE have flights into Mexico/Canada?
Thanks for your time.

-What are the rules of commuting / missed flights?
Need to have 2 flights that would have gotten you into your domicile before sign in time. Can be either AMR flights or other carrier. Can use the "commuter' policy 3 times in a rolling 12 month period. Protip: DO NOT COMMUTE.

Not sure. We don't stay too many places that AA does since we go mostly to outstations. Hub overnights maybe.
- Possible to jumpseat on international jumpseat?
You can non-rev on international flights, but if an international flight is full, I believe you can still sit in the jumpseat. You just can't sit in a jump seat on a foreign carrier doing their flights. IE, you cannot sit in the jumpseat of a BA flight from LHR to ZUR.
- Airframe can be chosen or will be assigned?
Depends on seniority and what is being offered in class. IE if your class only has ERJ slots available, you are stuck. If it has 10 ERJ and 1 CRJ and someone chooses CRJ, you are stuck. Only time you get an option is when they call your name, and there are 2 different equipments on the board. ATR's are being retired and no longer offered in class.
- Does AE have flights into Mexico/Canada?
Yes. Mexico are out of DFW and Canada out of New york and ORD.
Thanks for your time.
You're welcome

Some of the CRJ flights share hotels with AA. Msy is one I know. There's a few others, but I can't think of them right now.

Yikes...
Which other base has EMBs?
Is it typical to be offered both airframes in class or is it a mix?
Also, when they call u for a class do they tell u what airframe or bases to expect?
Thx!

Which airframe would you choose today if given the choice? I know the CRJ has a slightly higher pay rate for the CA side. I was thinking the ERJ currently has more bases to choose from, and with more airframes a higher number of possible trips to pick up or trade for.

Good news is MIA is expecting to grow on the AMR Eagle side, as ORD and New York are shrunk to non-existence.
Come on over, the water is fine!
