So does anyone know what this comprehensive recruitment program that the union is working with Eagle on? The union email was really vague.

Why would somebody risk giving up seniority at some other airline, and instead come to the second most unstable RJ carrier (Pinnacle being in a worse spot)?
Because they work for the most unstable RJ carrier. I interviewed Monday, got the "pre-offer". I got the ExpressJet interview next week and the GoJet interview the week after that. I think Eagle is definitely worth considering especially with the money offered and flow through. That said it is going to be an extremely difficult decision on which of the three to go to (of coarse I got to get the job offers first). All three airlines have a huge question mark on their future. (and ASA is only hiring into a pool.)

I second this question?

What's the best airline job you can get?

The first one you get!

If you're a rookie who has spent the last couple of years hour building by flight instructing, banner towing etc, you need an airline job with someone, anyone. It says you can work in a CRM environment, be on time to work and wear a uniform smartly. It's an ice breaker on your career.

Now I don't know about you guys but nobody else is emailing me and asking me if I'm interested in a job this week. Even if Eagle isn't supposedly around forever, personally I don't think its going anywhere, it's something on my resume that says I can be trusted with responsibility. Don't knock it.

If it helps you older guys out there to say, "There's a young'un with shiny jet syndrome", go ahead and say it!

^^I'm not one of those guys who make that by now cliche' statement, yet I've been at this longer than most here. You're right. People have to start somewhere.

Once you come to Eagle you will see our operation and future is much brighter than the APC crowd will have you believe.

If you have been hired: Welcome aboard! Let me know if you need any advice with anything.

This place is on another wave of hiring, once these AA guys go in March, we will be super short staffed. The only smart thing this company did was not furlough 400 last year. They basically made those who can play the systems, lives really good the last 16 months. One month I got a 60 hour line in MIA with 18 days off, then they declared 150% pay with all over time unblocked.

However the USAIR deal is a huge ?

I fully agree with some of the people on here. Eagle has a potentially bright future and I'm all for people coming here. If your considering coming here, your making the right choice. Every regional can be a huge question mark. At least eagle over all is a good company to work for. I've been here 2 years and really can't complain much about how it's gone.

I have an interview at the end of the month. I am presently doing the CRJ course at ATP. My question is whether I would get to be in DFW
My wife and I are looking to move there if I get the job. I feel confidant with all I read that AE will be fine. I'm glad to see a few posts that make me excited to come here.
