Delta will follow suit on their wholly owned. The outsource vendors like RAH and MESA will have no such direct pathways to the mainline and will shrink and be the victims of market consolidation.
The fleet plan for eagle is roughly 170 new planes. To be announced once a few more senior folks are scared into transferring to AA
That is a lot of assumptions

Don't worry, you should be at Compass by then. You won't have to concern yourself with this thread or the happenings at Eagle.

The only assumption is Delta following suit.

Hardly. The plan you suggest increases AA's (and DL if they were to even follow suit) costs because there are additional staff required to manage the process, in addition to the additional pilots that must be paid for at Eagle pay rates when they rather could outsource it to RAH or Mesa or even GoJet at the lower rates. Legacies want the cheapest feed (with a dash of reliability thrown in). The plan you suggest would only work if they could strong arm Eagle (and 9E on the DL side) into accepting heavy concessions to match pace with RAH.

They are having a heck of a time finding the right ally in ORD and getting those fickled steering systems engaged. Hearing ramp go off on how often they have that problem and block the alley way was priceless.

But no, people indeed are still flocking over to RAH non-stop. They are staying there too. I am starting to think I should divorce my wife, move back in with my parents to save on rent (cause wives are expensive) and work for RAH

Sounds too good to be true, I've been hearing the same from couple of people. I hope is true.

But again, it's too positive for this industry. lol
