I don't think they are going to make it.
First class in December has about 26 new hires.. Biggest class in a while. At least That's what the training center people just told us yesterday.. Class I'm transitioning through with has 6 new hires.

I wonder if that is because there will be only one class? Still a fairly sizable. Sure they said it would have 26 newhires vs 26 in the class, some of which could be new hires and some returning from LOA?

If it's 26 new hires thats roughly 3 months worth of new hires at the current rate.

Thought they said all new hires mostly going CRJ NY.. Not positive but I'll ask Amy Monday when I'm in there again.

Now I just need lots of CA upgrades under me so I dont get stuck ready reserve or displaced again.. Hope the vacancies and newbies keep coming until the music inevitably stops again!

Got a call for an interview in December.

1965TT, all but 70 of that Military if anyone wants to know what is getting a call.
ATP Written, no ATP. No Civ type ratings.
6 hours in last year.

When I was down in Dallas they said they were hiring a lot if mil guys who were just getting 6 months 121 experience to move on to a legacy. I think towards the end of summer we're going to see a lot of junior pilots bail out.

Yup, that's exactly the formula. Go to Eagle, do 6 months and then a legacy will call you!

You will see some guys bail a few months after they get to Eagle and other will spend longer, there is no perfect formula.
