Indeed. Possibly for the upgrades, no? I really don't understand this place sometimes. "Instructors headed back to the line...no wait, we need them, no wait, send em back, no wait..."

Yeah doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm happy for those guys getting back to the schoolhouse though, it's a significant pay cut going back to the line.

Do you have the specific language and a link? Big difference between what you said and operate under the American Eagle name!

Our regional carriers

Both airlines anticipate that the regional carriers they own – American Eagle and US Airways Express – will continue to operate as distinct entities. And although they will operate separately, all regional carriers for the new American are expected to eventually fly under the American Eagle name and livery.

That's great news! Senior pilots moving to AA and they are looking for more instructors and more capatin upgrades. Sounds like things are looking up at Eagle. Thanks for the great news RJ Pilot!!

Even if Eagle announces's the best fleet plan ever and a pay raise for everyone, RJ will put a negative spin on it!

My question regarding the school house is why let a bunch go and then rehire a couple of months later?

You may be right but considering that isn't going to happen we'll never know whether your hypothesis is correct.

Maybe they will get fresh blood in there since CW finally got out of there with the last displacement.
