You are clearly hell bent on making Eagle look really bad. What is your real agenda? I really think that you work for another airline and are trying to undermine our efforts to attract new pilots.

He actually got fired from Eagle. Whether or not he works as a truck driver I don't know but it makes a good story.

was reading the AA frequent flyer pages about the integration with USAir. AA said that the USAir wholly-owned regionals would be combined into AA Eagle.

Do you have the specific language and a link? Big difference between what you said and operate under the American Eagle name!

What I believe it meant by this is that all regional flying is branded American Eagle, not necessarily the American Eagle Airlines. The Eagle will be branded to all the regional's as they do now in LAX with Skywest, DFW CRJs, and ORD 175s. The planes look like the actual American Eagle for branding purposes.

I'm assuming this is what the article was implying. That much has been outlined already and is nothing new. I really doubt it means the merger of all wholly owned into the real American Eagle.

You are inconsistent. No, that's not right. You are a joke.
High taxes and high cost of living because the weather is amazing 365 days a year and you have world class skiing within a 5 hour drive + beaches + lakes.
Or you can go to Florida, no state taxes, great weather and beaches close within 3 hrs.

You and RJ should stop complaining. You got used to LAX base with small work schedules.

Sorry for your reality check, life is not fair. If you like so much other airlines California bases you should consider change companies.

Let me guess "I can't afford to move to other airline", guess what? Every FO make it work with their families. Even if you go to AA you will get a paycut.

If only people start living within their means they would be much happier.

At eagle you have to plan to live with 72hrs, everything else is extra income for savings.

Btw I jus get paid $37.9 and hour and I don't have to pick OT or extra flying for living, have a full mortgage, a wife that is not currently working and don't use government help. So be a man and do whatever you have to do for your family without crying like a baby.

Oh and yes, I commute.

PDT/PSA will be known as Eagle Operated by.... Seriously sounds ridiculous but has been known around our two flight departments for sometime. No merger implied.

Florida has horrible weather. 100% humidity? No thanks. I am perfectly able to support myself and my family as a FO but if I had to move and pay for another residence it would become extremely difficult, not to mention the time it would take to sell my current home.

I would love to fly for a real airline like UAL, DAL, or AA. Problem is they haven't called nor will they. No recs from higher ups, I'm a white male, no PIC time. I'm at Eagle for the next 15 years (if it lasts that long) and I'll do my best to keep potential new hires from making the same mistake I did.
