[QUOTE=Bzzt;1519019]I do know how nice living in base is, problem with that is Eagle is likely to close your base. On top of that moving a family across the country is not cheap. Not to mention Eagle has some of the most awful bases in the country.
ORD: Horrible weather, high taxes, high crime, high cost of living.
NY: Horrible weather, high taxes, high cost of living
DFW: Feels like a giant suburb, middle of nowhere
MIA: Humid, English is not the primary language
Well lots not for get some of the other airlines garden cities. Any thing Lakes offers. EWR, DET, PHL, MCI to name a few. I think their are many other worse choices than the above. I'm not a fan of NY myself either.

Like I said though, if you live in an Eagle base and don't care about being a FO for 8 years, it's not a bad place to work.

Republic? SDF, PHL, and MCI are sooooo much better than MIA and DFW right?
ExpressJet with exotic locales such as Cleveland, Houston, and Detroit?
Please tell us where these bases that are so much better than Eagle's are?
I understand that being a Troll isn't easy but you are really, really reaching for the stars these days.

So California doesn't have high taxes, high crime, and high cost of living? Those were your exact words you used to describe NY and Chicago. California eclipses those places in cost of living.
You are inconsistent. No, that's not right. You are a joke.

High taxes and high cost of living because the weather is amazing 365 days a year and you have world class skiing within a 5 hour drive + beaches + lakes.
