Confirmed. Training said there is new hires scheduled to be in my upcoming class. Not sure where these no hiring rumors come from..

More bad news, merger was approved. Expect more outsourcing away from Eagle ASAP and a lull in hiring. Hope those 824s weren't too anxious to go. Better settle in.

I just call the recruitment department and ask questions. They are cool about answering questions and explaining things. It's not some giant secret. Called yesterday and they said there was a new hire class yesterday and every 2 weeks with no plans at all to stop.

You complain about your career not moving but you are on the internet spreading false negative rumors about your company. Could that be part of the problem???

It's a shrinking company, were losing flying. Nothing I say on the Internet affects that. I'd much rather educate prospective new hires on how awful this company is and help their careers out than sell others out for my own gain.

I didn't deny there are new hire classes. The point was 2 classes of 5 a month is essentially nothing, not even enough to cover attrition. Also these classes aren't populated entirely by "new" people there are some coming off LOAs.

Junior bases are Miami and New York. You probably won't get awarded DFW at first but you can put a bid in for it and it might take a couple months to get it. Not positive though.

eagle is realigning there fleet and assets to better compete by amr farming more former l-eagle flying to others to feed aa. in this way when l-eagle furloughs and the add on feeders for aa are short of pilots l-eagle will with the pilots pink slip give them a republic application.
