Default Eagle to hire 600+ in 2013!

Wait so you mean Eagle is not merging with PSA...or was it Republic? I just can't remember the last one I heard from "a credible source."

Such a joke.

Not sure where you are getting this stuff from???

It's RJ pilot. He believes everything negative he hears about Eagle and posts it here as fact.

RJ Pilot is the king of trolls getting all of you so bent out of shape.

The sky isn't falling. Eagle is still interviewing, hiring, and pumping out a dozen or so new hires a month. Still have plenty of people leaving and we're maintaining a 3,000 pilot seniority list.

We are actually a 2700 or so pilot group. Probably closer to 2600 by the end of the month. Attrition is around 35 guys a month without including the guys that just flowed or are about to flow. Most of the attrition is coming from senior FO or the CA side. We sent sent a good number of CA to AA last month and 50 are heading that way this month with 20 more in December. We are currently junior maning CA and OT is being unblocked at around 70% for the Captains

Fixed. Just wait til PBS passes and they start handing out 5 day trips. Bottom of this seniority list is about to drop off.

We're actually in the 2800's. Near 29. Look at the latest flow plan

Really tell me how PBS will reduce staffing, currently there aren't many lines with a large amount of days off and they are flying the reserves on average 50 hrs a months or more on the CA side with multiple junior manning and reassignments. Last year PBS would have saved them on staffing but the way they are running the CA side PBS will be minimal impact on staffing. Now money wise PBS will save them a boat load of money.

PBS will end conflicts and drops for training but someone must still fly the sequence, instead of a senior pilot getting the trip and it being dropped and flown by the junior guy, the trip will be assigned to someone else but you still need someone to fly it while the other guy is in training.
