Default As of the latest seniority list...

We have been able to hire and retain only 99 of our wanted 600 new hires for the year...our seniority list remains relatively unchanged from 3005 from the highest i saw a couple of months ago to 2954 on the list dated July 21st, 2013.

They have already stated that the 140s and 145s are going to be staying around longer than originally thought.

Besides RJ Pilot, you have already said we are overstaffed. So how would flowing guys over to AA require them to park airplanes. If anything, should finally cause some good number of upgrades. Pick a side!

Do they have a Trucker Drivers Central forum? Wouldn't mind paying you a visit over there sometime too

They can't upgrade if they can't fill the FO seats. Also it's entirely possible they will be forced to take aircraft out of service even if they don't want to if they don't have the crews to staff them.

Of all RJs dumb posts this one actually is based on common sense.

This was mentioned by the employee relations manager MB during the flowthru's Roadshow few weeks ago.
True, if they were planning to stay the same size or grow. Yet they claim to want to shrink the airline. They have 3,000 pilots... 240, soon to be 239 airplanes and are still hiring

If they're shrinking the airlines by losing Captains to other airlines and through flow... They'll need to upgrade; but may not need new FO's as badly as former business models would predict.

its a poker game kids, at some point they will have to really jazz it up to avoid cx flights. Fleet plan, increased flow, all the things they offered for a B scale come to mind, per Tonys emails of course.

are you alive?? LOL!

I agree, there might be some movement around the corner. They do need to start upgrading soon, once the remaining of the flows and the 824 starts leaving, this place will be interesting.

Your highest was 3197. Could have been more, but that's the number the nephew got from the union at the time.

Hello all,
wanted to see if anyone can advise if MIA is a junior or senior base. If senior, how long would an f/o take to get it on a bid? Thanks !
