Sorry, but I have known too many worthless trust fund babies. And using connections to get undeserving children hired into a real job is far different from carving out a place for them in the family business, where the parent is at least assuming some risk.
Equating being born to wealth and connections to "hard work and success" is more than a stretch. It does not pass down like blond hair and blue eyes.

It's funny, my ethnic heritage is what's referred to as Caucasian, with the majority of it from one geographic region. For over a "4-500 years of injustice", that group (my ancestry) was oppressed by ANOTHER group of guess what? Another Caucasian group of people. Isn't that something?
Should I hold ANYBODY in that group in contempt?
Speak for yourself, because you don't really don't know your history EITHER.
Agree with this, see my above. And it CONTINUES to happen in various places in the world. Even though to the outsider, those people can appear exactly the same. Yet there's a racial/ethnic divide. The problems in Africa are a prime example.
But along the line of what you've said on this topic previous;

How about mildly irritated? And I am a 53 year old white guy, which makes me old enough to have worked for operators that did not hire women, blacks or Jews.
The EEOC determines minimum hiring qualifications in discrimination cases by going back through the records. So if you have a 500 hour female hired at XYZ airlines is because they had a track record of discrimination AND at some point hired a 499 hour nephew of a board member or son of a Chief Pilot. You guys complain about women and minorities, but I never hear anyone complaining about those who use the advantages of birth.
And for the record, the discrimination case that really got the ball rolling in the airline industry was age, not race or gender.

I knew them before they got the job and many of them I flew with.
If I had a direct link to someone in the hiring dept of said companies, I would have already been hired.
2) Do you know of any situations where white males got some type of deal or break? Or is it you opinion that that never happens?
3) Do you walk around thinking that every minority or female pilot got some type of break to get their job, and every white male pilot was fully qualified, passed all their jeopardy points and had no issues making it to the seat?
I have flown with a few female co-pilots that I really wondered how they got the job much less passed the check ride.
I have also flown with some great ones too.
Frankly, the honest answer to these questions may help you to understand your frustration. Believe me, HRs will weed out people they see as a potential liability in the future.

Hey TheDude if that be the case then I should've been hired at UAL coz I had the QUALITY time but I was'nt. I say again friends as a former interviewer. You're time ONLY gets you to the interview you must sell yourself to us for the job,and we must feel the chemistry from our perspective,no matter if you a have 1200 hours or 12,000,or in some cases viewed as a douche bag...
Your resume gets you the interview and then you have the chance to make it or break it at the interview.
I have even gotten the chance, yet.
