Default XJT proper placement of flight bags memo

So nice of management to give us a must read bulletin on "proper placement of flight bags". I guess they figure we can't sue and claim OJI now if we throw our backs out lifting the 40 pounds of crap they make us carry around now that they "informed" us of the "proper" (legally approved) way to do it. So now, if you claim OJI, be sure to testify that you used the approved technique and be sure to check out those 150% trips over Christmas too! Thanks For All You Do!

I won't cut and paste an internal memo on an open forum, but to make a long story short, management gave us "proper techniques" to lift our flight cases today to avoid injury. There will also be a video shown in recurrent.

Pathetically transparent attempt to shirk rising OJI costs due to back injuries, which according to management are one of flight Ops biggest expenses. As in enough to pay off 3500 iPad EFBs in two years.

Thanks For All You Do!

I think it's the equivalent of them saying "Hey, we're not going to pay you any more (pretty much standard on the ERJ side), but here's an AceyDay. TFAYD!"

Wait. You guys make more than any 50 seat pilots in the industry, and you want RAISES? No wonder we're still separate.

No, I meant receiving our regular paychecks.

Life can get much worse, you could wake up one day or simply just open your eyes after being shot in the head, to the sight of an Everts Air Cargo paycheck/QOL/CP/DO/etc.... If you really want to start appreciating life at the regionals, go work for that hell hole.
