Really? 145? What'd you like about it so much?

Unfortunately most rj pilots have flown the same
Plane their whole regional career. I truly feel sorry for them. The Q400 sucked, it felt more like an RJ. You can probably guess what my favorite plane was.

The CRJ700-900, strictly because it paid me the most (even though it was still woefully inadequate). They are all easy enough to fly.

Well other than the whole comfort factor above the Saab it was a really well designed airplane aerodynamically. I felt like I could fly it like a 172 or maybe an Archer even though it was a swept wing jet. Sure the automation was there but once you kicked all of the shiny stuff off and hand flew it the airplane was a blast.

The Saab is A LOT of fun but I attribute that to the KIND of flying we do not the airplane.

The Avro?

That being said...the list of regional planes I wish I could fly/have flown:
  • ATR-72
  • Dash-8 (sure the Q as well)
  • Saab-2000
  • Emb-120

I guess I have a thing for props...

I'm there with you, prop drivers- while you're not in the mach speeds or up at 30k plus, the ease of the straight wing, and the great acceleration/deceleration of full beta had always made my day

I've only flown the CRJ and the saab... but I'm throwing my vote to the Saab.... great handling and an insane amount of rudder capability...

Best one I've flown is the EMB-120, closely followed by the 1900. Not too many Saab 2000s in the USA but I'd like to get my hands on one someday. Looks like a rocket

1900 and Saab are equal in my book can't choose one over the other.
