That is absolutely false. I just spoke with a very senior dishwasher at the Ruby Tuesday across from Flight Safety. He said that there will be 337 new hires in the first quarter. He also said that all the waitresses at Malone's are skanks.

Hey I'm not one for rumors and such, trust me. My statement is not a rumor. The statement made by XJet to Crewoutfitters may be. These people have nothing to gain by telling me this so take it for what it's worth. I for one couldn't care less. If its nothing happens, the huge order of uniform pieces placed will go to waste.

You sir are sadly misinformed! I strongly believe that you are misquoting here!......That's an Affle House not a Ruby Tuesday!....As you were

I think Albert Einstien said it best - Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

When will people learn?

For most, when they find something better. Unfortunately, most will probably take a job at one of the remaining regionals if they can't get hired at a major or good corporate flight department. This will be so they can make more than unemployment and stay current, because without currency, the next job is nearly impossible to get. It stinks, but it is true.

When you've got nothing you take what's offered and like ATL said currency is everything. I figure that's part of the pay.

Back in August the Crew Outfitter folks said 150 new hires for the rest of 2012, which looks about right, so personally I would trust the info. Those uniforms aren't cheap and being on the hook for 400 of them is not a small monetary investment on their part.

I keep hearing a certain warm/tropical airport will be the next location for CRJ flying. These rumors seem to be coming from reliable/well placed sources. I have heard no aircraft numbers to go along with it. Has anyone been around A-Tech lately who can elaborate/expand (Bozo)?

All said, 400 in 3 months seems like a lot, and more than the schoolhouse could handle due to sim capacity restraints, but, I hope it is true (and not at the expense of our brothers and sisters at other regionals).

I'll bite.

By mid summer DFW doubles in size. MIA opens with 10 airplanes. 30 more 200s leave the DAL system to be replaced 1:1 with 900s.

Quote me in 6 months and tell me to shove it if my numbers are off by more than 20%.

Normally it's not my style to tell someone to shove it, but if you're a member of the DNC I'll make an exception!

Regional feed has entered a zero-sum (or negative-sum) phase. Any good news for one group is bad news for someone else. Of course I like it when the good news is coming our way instead of what we gotten used to, but it WILL be at the expense of others.
