Internal word from an XJET pilot friend said that they're hiring pilots at 1,100TT if you're hired in the month of December, despite what they are advertising.

Glad to hear that, but the question is how long will it stay below 1500 with August being the deadline?

I make the the ORD-DTW commute. It's pretty awesome, I always take Delta DC9 quick 45 mins each way...

An average of 50 hours per month is realistic, so anybody hired in December should be able to hit 1500 by the end of July fairly easily.

I hear the erj side is shrinking. Don't count on going over there.

3% loss of block hours. Long term maybe. ERJ side picked up a lot of extra flying due to Colgan last year so if anything it's back to normal. COLA's nothing more than a scare tactic.

It's not a scare tactic... it's the company being cheap in the short term. They expect major attrition on both sides next year... shrink or not, there will be movement on erj and crj sides. In other words, who cares, don't fight... get 'yer inner pilot b!tch on and complain about management or something.
