Real men wear pink?

Thanks for the responses and support, refreshing to hear.
Not sure if that statement is completely accurate. Men also are diagnosed and die from breast cancer albeit in much smaller numbers. Prostate cancer is also a real issue with high diagnosis and death rates and definitely isn't getting proper attention. Studies actually show that a large portion of male cancer deaths are due to our tendency to avoid and put off doctor visits rather than the lack of medicine or technology.

I've always thought it didn't make sense to wear something to "raise awareness." Do people these days really not know about breast cancer? Instead of volunteering at a clinic or something similar, we wear a color so that we can feel good about ourselves without actually doing anything. Because you really aren't doing anything by wearing a pink whatever. You could simply donate money, and many people probably do. That helps more than a pink tie
Just my opinion

At my company a chunk goes to Susan K race for the cure. Many aspects of American society are doing things that are donating mass amounts of money to research. Cancer hits home for me, so I gladly join this bandwagon.
