Pinnacle Reveals Tenuous Nature ... (Article)

ha ha ha... my house looks great. I lose my job, it may still look great from the road, but that doesn't mean anything has been done to keep it liveable inside... That is basically what has happened here... it was perfume on a very dirty sick pig. Phil was lucky to get fired when he did... See Paul Foley and Mair Holdings. He looked like a genius until his plan failed when the court wouldn't throw out Mesaba's scope in the bankruptcy... next thing you know Mair closes down Big Sky then immedately liquidates...

While PT did screw his employees, and least he gave them a little foreplay and a phone call a week later. This current management group not only bends you over but also gives you an STD, then hides the penicillin and brags about it on Facebook.

Phil built a house of cards, he just happened to get canned before they fell. The is still his fault, DL saw an opportunity to use bankruptcy to lower RJ costs and will then use that to whipsaw against other current DCI carriers i.e. Skywest/Expressjet, Gojets, Compass and Republic. Everyone licking their chops over our demise and our heavy RJs will soon get the "we can't compete with companies like Pinnacle so we need concessions" memos from their CEOs. Phil was an idiot and ran the company into the ground, DL saw an opportunity to force a CH. 11 to reset RJ rates, Menke left because he didn't want to be a yes man, J.S. is now in charge and taking his orders directly from the big building on the Northside of ATL. It sucks for us but we are just a subcontractor for a large corporation, DL doesn't owe us anything, it's strictly business.

Would you like me to say I hope you airline burns down? I try to stay out of these but I am getting sick of everyone that does not work here saying burn it down. I agree we can not take pay cuts but if we burn it down is it going to make go jets pay more? Are you guys going to pay my bills? I went to Mesaba because at the time it was a "descent" regional. Now I am stuck because i can not afford to go to year one pay. So if you guys agree to pay my bills I will gladly burn it down but if not, stay out of it and let each one of us decide what we are going to do. Of course if we get the 1113 term sheet rates then we will have to burn it down. We would hate to lower the bar so that go jets has to take a pay cut.

This sounds very selfish. Pilots are not the only employee group.
How about many thousands of other employees who would lose their jobs if the ‘…place is burned to the ground.’?
