Default Any XJET Guys/Gals help buddy pass??

Just wondering if anyone might be able to help out with two buddy passes for this weekend. Willing to trade for two USAirways ones. Give ya cash, whatever. Or if anyone just wants to help out that'd be cool too!

Trying to get my sister and her boyfriend from NC to the Midwest for a family reunion and USAirways flights are full and ticket prices are pretty high for the selected days (~$1,800-$2,100 round trip for both of them).

If anyone can help please PM me and I can call with details/credit card info! The favor would be greatly appreciated. They know the deal too with non-rev travel. Both well behaved etc etc.

What you are requesting would be a violation of pass policies and would subject an employee to discipline, from suspension of pass privileges, up to, and including termination. I suggest no one takes this bait. This is exactly the sort of thing we keep getting memos about. I wouldn't be surprised if this was someone in management fishing.

Cool guys... Thanks. In a tough spot just seeing if someone wanted to help out and maybe I could help someones family who could use the usairways system.

Tony---give me a break. Helping another crewmember at another airline out is a violation? We can't sell passes on eBay, but there is nothing against one guy helping another out. Hell I've given a buddy pass to someone in the airport before.

If you're that skeptical and pessimistic... Wow. Also if this is how you suppose your management team spends their time, "fishing" on a message board, that must be a terrible place to work!

Thanks anyways guys.

Appropriate Use of Travel Privileges Travel privileges are just that – a privilege. Our partners at Delta and United have allowed us access to enjoy this privilege, and we have an obligation to ensure that we adhere to their policies and prevent abuse that could result in loss of revenue. All travel privileges, including Buddy Passes, are for personal, leisure travel only and are not to be sold, bartered or used for personal gain or business purposes.
Travel privilege abuse includes, but is not limited to, the following examples:
 Providing Enrolled Friend (UA) or Travel Companion (DL) status or Buddy Passes to people who are not your family members or personal friends.
 Providing pass travel privileges to individuals you do not know.
 Selling, bartering or trading pass travel privileges, including through a broker, travel agency, classified listing, etc.
 Using your travel privileges to stand by for a flight on which you hold a confirmed ticket.
 Any attempt to manipulate flight listings, Buddy Passes, reservation systems, etc.
 Providing system access to unauthorized users. xjet.com, Delta’s DeltaNet, and United’s Flying Together are secure websites that contain proprietary and sensitive information. Access information for these sites should never be shared. Flying Together allows employees to create employeeRES accounts for their pass riders, and instructions for this are attached to this memo.
Straight from the company.

First, what you are asking is borderline gray area, so Tony is right. Why do you need an XJT person? I'm guessing you are looking for a Delta buddy pass, since we no longer get United buddy passes. And I can guarantee you that the Delta loads won't be any better than Airways!

Sorry, XJT is cracking down on Pass Travel abuse. If discovered, and if we still had Buddy Passes, there WOULD be a termination hearing.

Setting aside the appropriateness of what you are asking, I will say that if US Airways is full, Delta will probably also be full. I'm not sure how a buddy pass would help you in that regard.

They're better off getting a ticket, especially if it is an event they have to be there for.
