Setting aside the appropriateness of what you are asking, I will say that if US Airways is full, Delta will probably also be full. I'm not sure how a buddy pass would help you in that regard.
They're better off getting a ticket, especially if it is an event they have to be there for.

Or take a bus or drive. Buddy passes are practically worthless/useless.

What you are requesting would be a violation of pass policies and would subject an employee to discipline, from suspension of pass privileges, up to, and including termination. I suggest no one takes this bait. This is exactly the sort of thing we keep getting memos about. I wouldn't be surprised if this was someone in management fishing.
What was that part? "....up to and including termination"?

Just wondering if anyone might be able to help out with two buddy passes for this weekend. Willing to trade for two USAirways ones. Give ya cash, whatever. Or if anyone just wants to help out that'd be cool too!
Trying to get my sister and her boyfriend from NC to the Midwest for a family reunion and USAirways flights are full and ticket prices are pretty high for the selected days (~$1,800-$2,100 round trip for both of them).
If anyone can help please PM me and I can call with details/credit card info! The favor would be greatly appreciated. They know the deal too with non-rev travel. Both well behaved etc etc.

Good luck getting them there, I hope nobody is stupid enough to fall for this, sounds like a management scam to me trying to thin the herd.
