There was an email sent out from the CP to a "select number of candidates" outlining the hiring process and requesting updated resumes. Any word on how many peeps received that email? Did it make it out to everyone who applied or a narrowed-down list? Thanks!

CARLSBAD ---- The name went on, and soon the plane will be here.
California Pacific Airlines' first aircraft is scheduled to arrive around the end of this month or early July, said Tom Morrow, spokesman for the nascent airline.
The twin-jet Embraer 170, holding 70 passengers, is being prepared in Kansas City, Mo., for delivery. Earlier this week, the California Pacific name and its logo went on the plane, Morrow said.
Before delivery, the plane will be inspected, Morrow said.
"Our team will be spending four days doing checks, tests, etc., to make sure the aircraft is up to par before accepting it," Morrow said. "Once we accept it, anything that is wrong is on us."
Headquartered in Carlsbad near McClellan-Palomar Airport, the company intends to draw fliers from much of North County, who otherwise would have to travel to Lindbergh Field in San Diego.
The company is in the final stages of being certified for operation. In February, it announced meeting the requirements for the first phase of certification by the Federal Aviation Administration.
California Pacific Airlines is scheduled to begin flights later this year. It will offer flights to popular, relatively nearby destinations, namely Las Vegas, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland and Phoenix.
Cabo San Lucas, at the tip of the Baja peninsula, is to be added shortly thereafter.
