A ride to work is more than undone by barfing capacity into a saturated market and resulting in the airline you already work for reducing jobs that need a ride to work in the first place. Start ups are great for jumpseats, but they need to be crushed and liquidated. Every single one of them.

I agree. That doesn't mean they won't try though. Rich people can be some of the cheapest tippers, biggest tax avoiders (if not evaders) and harshest negotiators in the world. But when it comes to playing with airplanes suddenly losing money doesn't matter anymore and they become ballers making it rain dolla dolla billz y'all at the Viper Room while holding LiLo's hair in the corner as she throws up all over their suede shoes.

There was this little event in our industry in the '70's called "Deregulation." SWA and FDX/Flying Tigers existed before it. Not much good has popped up since.

Virgin - non-Union. Substandard pay compared to other narrowbody airlines.
Atlas - ACMI
Allegiant - new Union fighting substandard contract.
