Default RAH Negotiations Q's

Has there been any progress?

Is management dragging butt on negotiations?

Are they coming to the table at all?

I know of the strike vote, what's next?

Is it now in the hands of your EXCO to hit the red strike button? When?

Most importantly; Stick it to 'em!

Management has secured a new cpa and financed airplanes with an open labor dispute and after a strike vote. Labor unrest is no longer a burden to airline management, at least at rah. They will drag their feet until the nmb releases the pilots to strike. The kicker is we will likely never be released to strike. So management is offering a lowball contract and just waiting us out. They have zero incentive to actually negotiate. Dont expect a contract for a very long time still.

Very good point. Usually labor unrest would keep mainline partners at arms length, not this time. United could care less about the possibility of a strike from Republic pilots.

I didn't know that it's in the hands of the NMB. hmmm, me thinks that they won't release the pilots to strike during an election year. Friggin politicians!

There's 2 areas where the union is looking into where the company engaged in self-help. The Frontier issue and the pilot bonus. If its proven that the company engaged in self-help then the union can engage in self-help with a strike. No authorization needed. I can guarantee you DL, probably UA too, will step in if they smell any kind if strike looming. Momma DL doesn't like regional carriers messing with their operations.
