The answer to your first question is YES. If you are 340 PIC typed, send your resume in. Chances are they will be very interested.

You might want to take a look at the first-year pay for either of the two jet-equipped airlines in your sig before you hop on that high horse.

Is the PenAir APC page accurate in saying the most junior captain was hired in 2003? That'd sour the deal just a bit.

I'm on a 1900 but is Pen Air requiring a Saab type to be hired?

No.

Preference is given to those who fit the mold and have Saab time. The PIC type is an obvious requirement for street Captain.

Source: I have a few friends who work there, one is involved in hiring.

They were. Won't be a class until the fall now, but they probably will people and street capts specifically for BOS again.
