Exactly. I think that we can learn from the likes of George zimmerman's situation, to let the dust settle before we pass judgement. Remember that we are innocent until proven guilty.

For that matter, don't use your racket ball bag for trips. Prior to my 121 days (longer hair and a beard), I was stopped when flying home from Key West when the security folks (pre TSA)found a small bag of white powder.
After an hour or so, they finally figured out it was rosin, and I was released.

You're correct about that. NYC is the worst, but NYS is not gun friendly either. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Doomberg didn't try to find a way to charge this captain with something since he passed through NYC the day before. He probably could since the Constitution doesn't apply there....

Second point... Divorce laws/family law is specifically set up to ruin a mans life. She didn't even need to plant the gun to take everything.

This is one of the few captains here that I respect and actually look up to. Something much deeper must have happened here. He is an extrememly fair captain, excellent pilot and from talking with him over the years he is a great father. He is going through a terrible divorce and I feel very bad for him that his will affect his chances of getting custody of his kids.

From what I'm reading from the PDT guys and gals it sounds like there's gotta be more to this story. Doesn't sound like this guy was just another idiot.
That really sucks it was caught in NY though. I mean hell, if it'd happened in Texas the LEOs probably would've said "I'd have brought a .45". *note the sarcasm*
