No I'm a procrastinator, my prior 121 was on the emb145. Took the ultra long re-current class instead. But happy where im at.

The Bro flying is mostly California flying, unless you're based in SLC or DEN. The California flying is great, I loved it. In fact I loved it so much I stayed a bro FO out of FAT for 2 years before going to the jet. None of that awful east coast weather to deal with, lots of sunny days. Sure, SFO on a crappy day sucks with the delays and all, but overall I would take the Cali flying in a heartbeat over anything else. I'll probably go back to FAT as a bro captain in a year or so. Some of my favorite overnights: Chico, Medford, Santa Barbara, Monterey.......

You have to be kidding? 7 legs a day? I did the FAT flying and if I ever see that place agian it will be to soon. The legs are to short. Short legs= no pay. I loved the days of LAX to ONT and back the LAX to SNA and back. The only place that pays to fly the EMB is SLC or DEN where the block is longer than 39 min.

The short legs you mostly only see on the LAX side, I guess I was just senior enough to avoid it mostly. And I agree, they do suck, 8 legs in a day for 4 hours of pay. The SFO side isn't bad though, and that's what I liked. I could consistently get SFO-RDM, SFO-MFR, SFO-ACV, etc. and the average block on those is about 1.5 (and you could easily see over 2 hours block to Redmond). The average 4 day I was holding paid almost 24 hours. 3 of those and a 2-day or local and the month isn't so bad. But yes, some of the pairings in FAT are just AWFUL (4 days that pay 15 hours ).

I will agree that the SFO is MUCH better that LAX. Those 18 min turns with a plane swap just killed me. You can't even go to the bathrrom, not to mention eating a meal once in a while. I love the 120, however, I just love it alot more flying it on the delta side. How was your move from 120 to rj?

What is FO seniority and upgrade look like for the CRJ in LAX, and how easy is it to get based there out of new hire.

The "bro" is the EMB-120 aka Brasilia. So Bro flying is the turboprop side of the SKW operation
