Default No furloughs at Pinnacle?

Word on the street is that Pinnacle Airlines Corporation is losing 30 pilots a day. With that they may not need to furlough and actually hire when they are done with this process. Interesting if (and I hope it is) true.

30 a MONTH. Not a day. 29 left in March. Majority are FO's with no upgrade in sight.

I've seen no numbers that support this claim, it's all pretty much hear say. It could be true but I wouldn't bet on it. Get out now before the wave of Eagle and 9L, 9E and XJT guys hit the street and you find yourself on the back wave of hiring....

I know of a few junior guys who have interviews with other regionals but that's not saying much. I'm looking into jumping ship myself. I don't know...I'm pretty confident there will be furloughs.

Yeah I was surprised when I heard 30 A DAY instead of 30 A MONTH, but the source was pretty clear it was a day. Makes sense though as I know 3 guys who bailed from the Colgan side just today.

I think he meant XJ...

Allow, is Xjet losing money right now? If so, that could be considered "doing bad."

The majority of the movement is from Colgan guys. 1 XJ left in March. A few 9E, the rest Colgan. Was your source a ramper?

I know of 4 guys 2 9E and 2 9L that had interviews yesterday and today. They were all offered a position. I will also be gone by the end of this month. The number leaving is starting to add up.

No.

Just passing along info which may be useful. Take it for what it is worth, but no reason to get your blood pressure raised by what I post here dude.
