I personally see skywest shedding quite a bit of their own 200 leases to get the coveted 900's. Sure would clean up the balance sheet quite a bit.

Eh? I was a former 9E guy. I saw/see the writing the on the wall and bailed. I don't hate anyone. Don't get all ****y because you feel you're stuck with the sinking ship. The first step to recovery is admission....
Can Delta shed SkyWest flying? They sure can, but SKW can shift those airplanes to United, Airways or pick up more Alaska flying. I by no means think SKW is Camelot, but it's in a lot better position compared to many regionals. Perhaps you should get over yourself.

Why do they do anything the way they do?.. I'm envisioning a monkey with a dart board personally.

You are a CPA carrier just like everyone else. You don't get to just pick up flying from United, Airways or Alaska because you have extra aircraft. If any of them wanted more of Skywest, they would request it. BTW how's that health insurance and 1% 401K match treating you? It is only a matter of time until Skywest Holdings is in the same boat as 9E, just take a look at your stock value over the last year.
