The Bloch award can/may be tossed in Ch.11 it may all go away. The award deals with normal displacements, but not CH11 filings.

I'm not planning on sticking around to find out though.

Think of how many of our idiots would probably crash those same bonanzas/barons/etc. Somedays I wonder.

If they can cover the flying while it is in transition you would think they would just continue to cover the flying that way. Here's an idea, United should by some 100 seaters and have United pilots fly them.
Good luck with that, they just dumped all there 737-500's... They are well on the same path as Delta. Get rid of anything not at least transcon. Outsource everything below to about 70 seats, dump the cities that can't support at least that.

Are we talking executives or line pilots?
I bet Trenary, Lorenzo, Icahan, Wolfe, Gangwal, Skeen, Trump, Ray, Ect.... All would have been so much better. This industry is rife with jackholes looking to steal and run. There is a reason the joke goes how do you get a million dollars in aviation? Start with a billion.

Bloch award will not be changed by bankruptcy. The arbitration involved ALPA and the pilots, the company is not involved and just follows the seniority list based on what ALPA tells them. The only thing that might change is the rules in the JCBA regarding displacement, etc, and in that case things will not benefit 9L pilots.

Under the RLA, the Company, and court can move to invalidate part of the Award. Normally this would invalditate the entire arbitration award, unless the company and pilots represenative mutually agree that the Invalid parts are seprerable.

There is precendent (not in airlines yet) in which companies have serperated Award fences and position locks as an undue burdon to the company. If it's not done this way, than the entire award becomes invalid the JCBA requires the pilot groups to be merged to one list, and The RLA requires status quo until that happens. (no group can be reduced more so than another).

Out of senortity displacements / furloughs has recent precendent in court. It would be a tough battle to reverse the courts decession on out of senority furghloughs.

9l ticket is prob. getting sold anyways, so hopefully it doesn't matter. (I've not got a dog here anymore - I'm out )
