Let me see if I can sum up the call...

SM: It isn't my fault. It happened before I got here. The employees wouldn't take cuts, and I deserve the extra pay.

If you read into what he said, basically he threatened to quit, much like the CFO did, rather than go through another BK. The BOD made him an offer he couldn't resist.

He cried and talked about the struggle of taking his family through bankrupcty, the irony was thick.

So how many pilots do we currently have flying q400's and saabs. there are 200 flying the 900's in atl. I am trying to figure out the exact amount of furloughs.

I was going to say the same thing. Privately held company = we have no idea how stable this place is.

I don't know if this is very accurate as it probably doesn't include those already in the training pipeline but I went through and counted up the list from the bids for all bases on colgan for April, and got 527 active pilots.

About as much as the general public gives a sh*t about your pilot contract.

The military has historically hired a majority of their pilots from the military, so it's illogical to think that all you regional guys are going to populate the major ranks when there are still military pilots looking to get out and go to the majors.
