There must be something up besides pay. Not talking to union about negotiations is one thing but you don't mess with pay. Even in bankruptcy the court won't let them screw with that.
I don't know about non fenced but in the fenced area there hasn't been any company updates from SM or any one in a couple weeks. With a couple of short term things coming to an end the 2nd things are going to get interesting and I expect the FU Friday to be starting soon.
Good luck to us all...

I'm betting a days pay we are bankrupt by midnight tonight (Friday) I'll bet a week's pay we are bankrupt by Monday night. I'll bet everything I have and everything I ever will that we will have filed by the first day of summer. There are way too many signs, even more than the last filing (for Mesaba) in 2005

With the exception of the last check of the year, can anyone else name one single time that payroll has been pushed EARLY like this? I can not think of a single time going back to 1997.

Your BIGGEST sign should be that you were paid today. The first falls on a Sunday which means the company is not contractually obligated to pay you until Monday the second.

1. Paychecks will be issued on the 16th (the “first paycheck”) and the 1st (the “second paycheck”) of every month. Should a payday fall on a Saturday, the Company shall issue paychecks on the previous Friday. Should a payday fall on
a weekend or a bank holiday, the Company shall issue paychecks on the first working weekday prior to the bank holiday.
Example 1: A payday falls on Saturday the 16th. Paychecks shall be issued on Friday the 15th.
Example 2: A payday falls on Monday the 16th, a bank holiday. Paychecks shall be issued on Friday the 13th.
Example 3: A payday falls on Sunday the 16th, a bank holiday. Paychecks shall be issued on the Friday the 14th.
Example 4: A payday falls on Monday, January 1, a bank holiday.
Paychecks shall be issued on Friday, December 29.

Thanks for correcting that FlyJSH...
We are to be paid TODAY (3/30) because 4/1 falls on a Sunday. And with the cut and paste from our contract JSH provided there's no room for interpretation. Trust me, I know this as I dealt with it for several months.
If you don't have a deposit in your accounts today you either have a paper check that you have to deposit or you got screwed yet again.

I am just going to throw this out there, maybe this payroll issue has nothing to do with going bankrupt but more of a problem with staffing and a poorly run airline. I believe that colgan has had pay issues from before we were talking about going BK.(Not sure i only know the XJ side) I am just not going to jump off the deep end and say we are going BK because our pay was screwed up or i heard a reliable source say that ........ Now i am not saying i dont think we are not going BK or that it is ok what is happening. This is just a possible different explanation.
