Agreed. If it wasn't for the enormous amounts of ready reserve I sit, I'd barely even know who the regional chief was. Pinnacle/Colgan has had a revolving door recently at the management level.

Is DO. Director of Operations? I had to look up who it was....I shivered when I saw the name.

Nobody likes a thorn in the side.

It doesn't matter whether he cares about you or not. He has bigger fish to fry and doesn't want to deal with crap a $10 per hour bookkeeper should be fixing. As long as he uses his special, private, express phone line to call payroll and say "Whinny *$$ pilots are bugging me about not getting paid. You idiots need to fix this now! I hate talking to those dirty little peasants," and I get a check, let him hate me.

Just be a (polite but forceful) thorn.

The union sent out a good email this evening. It said they filed a group grievance against the company.

What would the result of a group grievance be? Obviously the company already knows there's an issue.... Is it monetary? Does the union just get proverbial points?

From the ALPA email:

Additionally, we are in the process of investigating the applicability of state wage and hour laws. It is simply not acceptable that so many of our pilots are waiting – in some cases for weeks – for a significant amount of the wages they have already earned. We will report our findings and take action if we conclude that external pressure can be brought to bear by involving the appropriate state agencies.

This is going to get interesting.....

I just saw a new deduction that I have never had before: UNI REG for $75.00.

Anyone know what that is? It seems that each month they deduct more and more...

There must be something up besides pay. Not talking to union about negotiations is one thing but you don't mess with pay. Even in bankruptcy the court won't let them screw with that.

I don't know about non fenced but in the fenced area there hasn't been any company updates from SM or any one in a couple weeks. With a couple of short term things coming to an end the 2nd things are going to get interesting and I expect the FU Friday to be starting soon.

Good luck to us all...
