This post is a bit ignorant and abrasive for a mod, I reported it to FD. Perhaps if you had line flying experience as oppose to 152 time, you could have sufficient understanding of the dynamics associated with g7 and the negative role they actively play in the industry.

To the op:

It is unlikely that any significant gains will be made during your negotiations because that would defeat the point of gojets as far as Hulas is concerned.

I respect that opinion, but I feel you're mistaken. There have been a few management changes, and a couple more are coming. Employee morale is becoming a concern, somewhat. Tsh really values the delta flying and wants it to continue to grow. Performance has been impressive, and the company needs it to stay that way. Without our uax performance numbers, the delta situation may have never presented itself.

If you're right, I won't be surprised. I am hopeful though.

It's absolutely hilarious that you say this, because on the other side of the house, (separate companies though), it was the same way. TSA mgmt also wanted all the UAX flying that eventually went to ExpressJet while we were in negotiations, as well as I'm sure countless other RFPs that came and went. Look where that thinking got us. Thanks for the chuckle, though.

Yeah, but now that they've almost finished transferring all of their remaining united express flying from TSA to gojet, TSH needs other ways to keep the money coming in.

Not to worry, as 2012 goes on, Comair will lose more planes and flying. As long as you are the low bidder, Delta will give you more flying.

They may want the flying but they want it as cheap as possible. So expect at least a 5 yr fight and expect them to look for a pilot group to do it cheaper than you guys will.

I think the concessions will come quickly. So they'll probably have a new contract ASAP. I mean, they want more of those shiny delta jets.

He is obviously flame baiting. Not defending all the fish who bite (including myself) but wouldn't it just be easier dealing with the one problem?

The only reason you’re doing any flying for Delta is because you are the cheapest and Delta is using you to whipsaw the other DCI carriers.

Good luck on your contract negotiations and I hope your bring the industry standards up.
